Three upgrades to Wordpress have come out recently, with the big one being WordPress 2.1 Ella. Ella looks like she’s got a lot of features I’m interested in adding, so I’ll probably be working on an upgrade shortly. Not tonight, maybe next weekend, but shortly.

The forum’s in a similar (but not quite as far behind) state of disrepair. The forum is an absolute bitch to upgrade, though, so I might put that off a bit longer.

And if anyone has any really good AJAX tutorials they could point me to, I’d be very interested in some links.

Finally flogged phpbb into submission, so all’s good here. I’m going back to my video games now.

Wordpress is back up. I’ve got backups. Phpbb2 continues to hate me. I’ll beat it with a large stick again on another day.

Let’s hope that the Wordpress upgrade goes better than the forum, and just leave it at that.

I’m updating the current version of Wordpress and making some small changes to the forum either today or tomorrow. Outages may temporarily occur.

My hosting folks are currently working on a problem with my account’s software, and as an unintended consequence, it looks like the forum’s experiencing database issues. We’ll have things up again as soon as we can. Thanks!
