Still here, and staying.
Dear cousin,
Remember the other day on the phone when I asked you what it’s like to be in Colorado this time of year, because October in the Philadelphia region is always so rainy thanks to hurricane season? I mentioned Mom was trapped here for five hours Saturday night because of the flooding though, despite the crazy-ass rain we were okay. And you explained that things out your way are always so dry, since most of the preciptation comes from snowmelt in the spring. Sounded really tempting, too, since I figure it’s harder to get Seasonal Affective Disorder when the skies tend to be clearer.
Well, I changed my mind. You can keep that kind of sunshine out there with you. I’ll take the remnants of Tammy over an October snowstorm any day.
Hope your safe, call soon.
