Why Apple is more expensive than Amazon
At least, when it comes to buying DRM-free music.
This article sounds half-paranoid, but after the moronic track record that our “friends” in the music industry have subjected us to for many many years, I think it (sadly) makes logical sense.
And have you noticed that the music industry never steps forward to refute accusations like these?

Google Watch : ‘My Sharona’ Creators Sue Yahoo, Apple, Amazon and Run DMC for Copyright Infringement
If this lawsuit succeeds at all, it’ll just prove that copyright law in the United States has gone insane. These guys are wasting huge amounts of time and money for everyone by suing a band, a the producers, publishers, labels, and online content distributors (but not brick and mortar CD seller) for a proported breach of copyright that’s been outside of its statute of limitations for 17 years.
Wow. This puts whole new levels of meaning into the song My Bologna.

Now you, too, can own a sword used to cut down hundreds, if not thousands, of innocent people in a video game! Sephiroth’s sword
is now available on Amazon for less than $100!
I suppose if you associate with the bad guy, or you really need a Masamune sword taller than I am, it’s a pretty cool thing. Me, I’d rather have Cloud’s sword
. Or Tidus’s. Or even Paine’s. But that’s me.
Of course, I’m not shopping for any of those at the moment, actually - I’m shopping for the Final Fantasy Advent Children soundtrack. Which is expensive, but everyone says it rocks.
Amazon, I love you.
