My dad is diabetic, with heart and blood pressure issues, and he says he feels exactly the same way when he has anything done. Even the dentist won’t touch his mouth without four hundred permission slips.

We’ve ended up using a notepad-and-folder system to try to keep track what’s going on with everyone all the time. (Thus the comic about the trapper keepers, because I want to implement something similar for the dogs.) The surgery was crazy though: it took a long time for us to get all the ducks in a row. Which you’ll see on here, if I ever get the next comic drawn
