Alternatively:
1. Roll sheet up into a ball.
2. Put it in a closet where no one will ever see it.

Yes, but when you know your mother-in-law may at some point see said fitted sheet, you put a little effort into trying to do it right. Not a lot, just a little, thus the internet.

I actually knew this. I still cannot do it correctly and often resort to the following:
1. do the 4 corner trick thing
2. roll into a “sausage type thing” with the flat sheet and pillow cases
3. toss onto top shelf of linen closet (too short to place it neatly)
Alternate
1. Wait for husband to do it and then I don’t care what it looks like becuase it’s done

I like your alternate workflow, but it never seems to work here
The folding thing was a big deal for me because I finally have little boxes to put our sheets in so they can go in the top of the closet. It’s way exciting, which shows how old I am.
