Why are lobsters being used in new X-ray technologies?
I love it when a creature is tasty, delicious, and capable of redefining how we use existing technology. Though I think butter sauce will be optional with the x-rays.

That article is terribly written. I had to read it 3 times before I figured out what it was actually about: a better way to focus x-rays, using an array of mirrors instead of a lens. (…I think. I’m still not completely sure.) It never actually uses the word “lens”, though, and barely uses the word “focus”. These aren’t exactly obscure technical terms that should be left out. I get the impression the author doesn’t really understand what she’s trying to explain.
