Y’know, I could be using these as buffer materials (and actually, some of them I am), but this one was just too good to hold. Faithful viewer Squeaker found this one Wednesday evening, and asked me, “Why would someone kill 4 corpses?”
Now you know.
Having heard some of the horror stories of Saddam Hussein’s reign of terror, would you be surprised?

You can view the original article here if you desire. Or, you can go read the actual short stories, “A Sound of Thunder” and “The Veldt”. Special thanks to Jzimbert, who broke the story on the Get Outta My Head forums.

The very precise art style I used for “The Longest Night of the Summer” was nice, but very tedious, and I was angry at how often I bailed out by using cut and paste to put her together. It also took too damned long, with the 12 strips in the Longest Night of the Summer taking almost three months for me to draw (fittingly, last summer).
From here forward, I decided to use a much sloppier, but more honest drawing method. Yes, the art quality’s gone downhill, but ultimately that means more comics for you. A comic every week or two just doesn’t cut it.
